Who you might find here
- Cluck
- The chickens
- Farmer Brown
Cluck's Chicken Coop sits at the edge of the yard, painted yellow with a little weathervane on top that spins in the breeze. Farmer Brown built it with care — proper perches, a warm nesting corner, and a door that latches from the outside. That last part was important. Cluck has a gift for getting out. Not because the coop isn't comfortable — it is — but because Cluck believes that the world is too interesting to stay in one place. Every morning she crows from the highest point she can find, announces the day to everyone whether they want to hear it or not, and then sets off to see what's happening. The coop is where she sleeps. The rest of The Farm is where she lives.
The lesson from this place
Curiosity is a gift. The world opens up to those who are brave enough to explore it.
