Who you might find here
- Grumpy Goat
- Farmer Brown
- Farm friends brave enough to visit
Grumpy Goat's Pasture is the quietest corner of The Farm — or at least it would be, if Grumpy Goat weren't in it. The grass here is the greenest on the property. The fence is solid and well-maintained, mostly because Grumpy Goat complained about it until Farmer Brown fixed it. The old oak tree in the corner provides shade in the afternoon, and there's a worn patch of ground beneath it where Grumpy Goat has stood for so many years that the grass gave up trying to grow there. He'll tell you the pasture isn't good enough. He'll tell you the fence still leans slightly to the left. But he's been here longer than almost anyone, and he has never once asked to leave.
The lesson from this place
Sometimes the people who complain the loudest are the ones who care the most. Look past the grumbling to find the heart underneath.
